The Mark "Flash " Friedman aka Friends of "Flash" memorial fund was set up in honor of Mark Friedman who passed away on March 7 2007. Mark was a pillar in the community for many years and the founder of the 4th of July fireworks show in 1975. He was also the chief of the fire department when it was strictly a volunteer organization. He worked to set up the fire district and to have our taxes pay for what it is today! In his memory, this non-profit organization was started to help the people in this community.

The Mark "Flash" Friedman Foundation was founded to keep his memory alive by continuing what he did for so many in his life. Our hope is that his spirit of helpfulness that touched our community will shine through and continue to help the children of this wonderful community.
